It may not be a popular subject. However, when it comes to selling a home or vacant parcel, the only factor that matters is VALUE. In the business, we hear many reasons why the price should be inflated, such as, “This property has sentimental value”, “Do you have any idea how much we paid for it?” or our favorite, “My neighbor’s sold for twice that much”. But when it’s all said & done, it always comes down to value. What kind of value are you going to offer the new owner of your home? Real Estate is quite different today than even 10 years ago. Today’s buyers are savvy and informed. They do much of the work online. If you want a successful transaction, you’re going to need a listing agent that understands value.
